DJ MicroLaminates Adds Gaëtan Bonhomme, PhD to its Board of Advisors

Noted entrepreneur and advanced materials scientist to help shape company’s new product development and go-to-market strategies

BOSTON, Mass. – March 5, 2018 – DJ MicroLaminates, Inc., a leading developer and marketer of thick dry film resist materials, today announced that Gaëtan Bonhomme, PhD has joined the company’s Board of Advisors. To this role, Dr. Bonhomme brings in-depth advanced materials knowledge and valuable business experience he gained through founding, building and scaling a multi-million-dollar company.

Gaëtan Bonhomme, PhD is an internationally recognized advanced materials scientist and entrepreneur. Most recently, Dr. Bonhomme was co-founder and CTO of Kurion, an environmental management company focused on nuclear waste handling solutions. While there, he led several high-profile projects for Kurion, including serving as project manager for the Fukushima Taskforce in 2011. Dr. Bonhomme played a key role in Kurion’s acquisition by Veolia in 2016 for $350M. The French-born and US-based entrepreneur holds several advanced degrees, including a PhD in Materials Science (from École des Mines Nancy). Dr. Bonhomme also earned an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, where he was the recipient of the McGovern award in Entrepreneurship.
